Asia Pacific is expected to dominate the global smart toilet market due to the increasing awareness in developing countries, changing lifestyle, growing disposable income, rising awareness about wastage of water and number of cities converted into smart cities in this region. For example, according to a Cabinet Office consumer confidence survey conducted in March 2018, 80.2% of households of two or more people own an electronic toilet with a bidet function. In Japan, adoption of smart toilets is high like, hotels, restaurants, bus stations, rest stops and around 80% of homes.
