Scope of Global Automated Material Handling Equipment Market

Automated material handling equipment make an effective transport of material from one place to another in the manufacturing area within the analogous department or bay, on contrary ends of the manufacturing bottom, or indeed in two separate structures. These equipments help a facility with an efficient material handling system without delays during their fulfillment processes. Automated handling equipment encompasses many machines such as tilt tables, scissor lift tables, loading dock equipment, pallet positioners, and conveyor belts. Thus, these automated equipments work to make the operations more efficient and cost-effective.

Some of the major advantages of automated material handling equipment are: maximize warehouse space, reduce employee hazards, improve supply chain efficiency, more effective quality control and enhanced customer satisfaction. In any type of transport, these equipments are most salutary when the material information is, at a minimum, available and visible in the systems used by manufacturing staff. In a completely enforced automated material handling equipment, there would be no human import with carriers, transport systems or material; the automated material handling equipment would singly handle the identification, routing and delivered of material to the applicable tool, indeed placed and removed the material from the cargo anchorages on the tool.

Global Automated Material Handling (AMH) Equipment Market: Global Size, Trends, Competitive, Historical & Forecast Analysis to 2022-2028, Increasing demand of automated storage and retrieval system (ASRS) in e-commerce industry due to onset of Covid-19, rising number of product offerings and growing popularity of automated material handling equipments among leading industries, are driving the growth of the Global Automated Material Handling Equipment market.

Covid-19 pandemic has also impacted the growth of the global automated material handling equipment market owing to the affect on automated material handling equipment requests, performing in dropped shipments of AMH equipment and the earnings generated from them. And, it led to a decline in the growth trend of the request during the initial stage of the Covid-19. But this is expected to recover in the later stage due to the growing concern material running. The pandemic has mainly impacted the value chain of the AMH equipment request.

Major Factors for Automated Material Handling Equipment Market

Increasing Demand from Automated Storage And Retrieval System (ASRS) in E-Commerce Industry due to the Onset of Covid-19, Rising Number of Product Offerings and Growing Popularity of Automated Material Handling Equipments among Leading Industries, are Driving the Market Growth

One of the major factors driving the growth of global automated material handling equipment market is increasing demand for automated storage and retrieval system (ASRS) in the e-commerce industry due to the onset of Covid-19. The e-commerce assiduity is passing a smash owing to the unknown rise in the number of online shoppers post the outbreak of Covid-19. The enforcement of social distancing morals, lockdowns, and other measures in response to the pandemic has led consumers to opt for online shopping. This has redounded in a shaft in business-to-consumer (B2C) deals and business-to-business (B2B) e-commerce. This has increased the demand for automated material handling equipment as wing to increase the number of orders and labor shortages. According to NASSCOM; despite Covid-19 challenges/dislocations, India’s-commerce request continues to grow at 5, with anticipated deals of US$ 56.6 billion in 2021. According to Payoneer report; Indian commerce is projected to increase from four of the total food and grocery, vesture and consumer electronics retail trade in 2020 to eight by 2025 as well as according to the IBEF, in 2020, there were roughly 150 million online shoppers annually, compared to about 135 million online shoppers in 2019 in India.

Additionally, the increasing number of product offerings and rising number of start-ups in various industries are also supplementing the demand for automated material handling equipments. According to the Indian Start-up Ecosystem, India has the 3rd leading start-up ecosystem in the world; its observe YoY growth of consistent annual growth of 12-15%. India has about 50,000 start-ups in India in 2018; around 8,900 – 9,300 of these are technology-managed start-ups 1300 new tech start-ups were born in 2019 alone implying there are 2-3 tech start-ups born every day. Additionally, according to the International Federation of Robotics (IFR) in the year 2020, an expected 1.64 million industrial robots were in operation worldwide. Moreover, Amazon's largest U.S. warehouse is in Mt. Juliet, Tennessee. It's the company's first robotics fulfillment center with a 3.6 million-square-foot campus including 80,000 square feet of office space and five stories of automated warehouse facilities. According to Amazon Robotics As of June 2019, Amazon had more than 200,000 of robots working in their warehouses. Furthermore, surging labour costs and safety concerns are also fostering the growth of the AMH equipment market.

However, the issues similar as rise in prices, high expenditure on capital, and high maintenance costs of equipment and systems may hamper the market growth. In spite of that, increasing challenge towards the end-use industries lies in the choosing of technology that is sufficient for the business needs and balances the trade-off between the performance and cost of the automated material handling equipment and systems which helps in improving fuel economy all across the globe and hence may offer various growth opportunities for the further growth of the market.
