May 26th, 2021: A single shot for the poultry vaccine in India has been launched by the Boehringer Ingelheim as “VAXXITEK HVT+IBD”. This vaccine gives protection to the chicken, such as broiler, breeder, and layer. The vaccine protect against two major diseases such as Marek's Disease and infectious Bursal Disease. Vaccine has covered almost 130 billion birds that are vaccinated globally and is available in 100 countries. As an innovative single-dose recombinant vaccine and it eliminates the need of additional vaccine. VAXXITEK HVT+IBD has provide a very effective and simplified solution to the Indian poultry market and expected to protect against two avian disease in one product.
