Global Warehouse Robotics Market: Global Size, Trends, Competitive, Historical Forecast Analysis, 2021-2027 Increasing adoption of e-commerce, growing technological advancements in warehousing and Covid-19 pandemic are some of the major factors driving the growth of Global Warehouse Robotics Market.

Scope of Warehouse Robotics Market-

Global warehouse robotics market has shown a significant growth in the recent years owing their various advantages. Warehouse robotic systems have the ability to minimize the errors during the order achievement process which makes them a superior option for warehouse operations. Warehouse operations such as storage and retrieval, packaging and palletizing, and de-palletizing must be done accurately each time with high repeatability. If these operations are performed by workers, there is a possibility of possible mistakes. The use of robotic systems to accomplish these tedious tasks offers many advantages, such as improved reliability and quality, high-speed movement of products, reduced production costs, and reduced errors. Warehouse robots automate the process of storing and moving goods in supply chain products. The warehouse robots are majorly utilized and helpful in storage facilities and warehouses owing the benefits offered by them such as they offer more uptime than manual work. This provides end-users a maximum productivity profit.

The Covid-19 epidemic affected the several industries across the global including warehousing. Due to the shutdown of warehouse manufacturing plants and others have adversely affected the overall supply chain system. However, in the latter part of 2020, leading players, such as ABB, FANUC Corporation, Yaskawa Electric Corporation, Toshiba Corporation, and others, focused on factory automation which has impacted the market of warehouse robotics in a positive manner and also brought back the logistics supply chain with opportunities for robotics in omnichannel fulfillment. For instance; in October 2020, ABB approved Kodian Robotics B.V. to expand its robotics portfolio in logistics and food and beverage applications bought.

ABB Announced to Acquire ASTI Mobile Robotics Group to Drive the Next Generation of Flexible Automation with Autonomous Mobile Robots

On July 26th, 2021; ASTI leads the world in high growth in the Autonomous Mobile Robot (AMR) market with a wide portfolio of vehicles and software. ABB announced that it will have a wide portfolio of all major applications enabled by the software set of ASTI Mobile Robotics Group (ASTI), a leading global autonomous mobile robot (AMR) manufacturer. In this acquisition, ABB will pay ASTI Mobile Robotics $ 190M at the time of acquisition. It will expand ABB's robotics and automation offerings, becoming the only firm offering a complete portfolio for the next generation of flexible automation. Moreover, the acquisition is a major part of ABB's external growth strategy. Both parties agreed not to disclose any details about the purchase price.

Dexterity Launched New Warehouse Robots

On July 24th, 2020; Dexterity launched its full-stack, hardware-agnostic robotic systems for warehouses. The startup company said its robots allow customers to automate repetitive pick-pack tasks, and can handle complex manipulations in unpredictable environments. It adds that the robots utilize artificial intelligence, advanced control theory, computer vision, and the sense of touch to adapt quickly, making them safe to work alongside humans. Initial customers include Kawasaki Heavy Industries, a global food manufacturer and distributor, and a worldwide package delivery provider. Dexterity simplified automation deployments by managing the entire process for customers, from end-to-end system design and engineering to deployments with operational guarantees. Unlike existing robotics providers, Dexterity robots are adaptable, mobile and collaborative.

Global Warehouse Robotics Market Dynamics-

The increasing demand for automation due to the prevailing competition in the field of e-commerce is driving the growth of global warehouse robotics. E-commerce trends are impacting the manufacturing, warehousing, and logistics industries, indicating that optimizing and developing automated solutions for these industries is becoming increasingly important. Increasing demand for instant order supply to customers in an accurate and loss-free manner, growing competition in the e-commerce industry, and rapid growth in online shopping are the key factors boosting the growth of the warehouse robotics market. The industry helps control warehouse automation costs and operational complexity.

In addition, the increasing focus of market players in this field is also fostering market growth. Solutions are designed for scale and can produce more productive and more accurate orders than the manual setup at lower operating costs. In addition, they can increase customer satisfaction and improve margins by reducing delivery time and reducing the cost of incorrect orders. As a result, many players in the e-commerce sector are expanding their technologies, such as Amazon has completed the acquisition of Kiva Systems acquisition. The acquisition is valued at approximately 775 Million USD. The deal gave Amazon an army of custom-made robots to zip out of the warehouse, and ship shipment requests were completed very quickly. And also, on September 20th, 2021, Locus Robotics, a leading provider of Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMR) for Purti warehouses, acquired Waypoint Robotics, a leading provider of autonomous, all-around mobile robots that can move and handle large payloads. And, growing advancements in warehouse robotics technology are also supplementing the growth of the warehouse robotics market.

Technological advancements such as scanners, sensors, voice technology, blockchain technology, and others are helping to boom the warehouse robotics market. Blockchain in warehouse systems is another key and recent advancement in supply chain operations. Warehouse management system (WMS) coordinates warehouse operations and blockchain protects and shares the data WMS use, autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) perform physical tasks to fulfill orders. Due to these technological advancements, demand for warehouse robotics is increasing.

Furthermore, the warehouse robotics industry is booming due to the rapid growth of online shoppers. Shopping convenience and advanced mobile connectivity are important factors for consumers to choose online shopping. E-commerce players need to effectively manage their inventory in order to meet the challenges of short delivery and ever-changing customer preferences.
